Sonic Boom Records has been a pillar of Seattle's music scene since 1997. Since then, the music industry has shifted dramatically to the digital space and online streaming. Sonic Boom needed to modernize its brand in order to keep up with the ever-changing music landscape and connect with new audiences.
Fuel Coffee has prided itself as an unpretentious, high-quality coffee provider since 2005. In order for them to enter a new market and reach new customers, I came up with a hypothetical sub-brand for a ready-to-drink coffee called 94 Octane, inspired by Fuel’s original, vintage gas station-themed branding.
With sustainability and ethics being a major issue in today's fast fashion industry, I wanted to shift the spotlight to small, independent designers that focus on hand-made, upcycled garments.
